Rowendy Wendy José Sumter (born 19 March 1988) is a Curaçaoan association football, footballer who plays Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for RKSV Scherpenheuvel in the Curaçao Sekshon Pagá, Sekshon Pagá and for the Curaçao national football team, Curaçao national team. Club career Jong Holland Born in Willemstad, Netherlands Antilles, Sumter began his career with CRKSV Jong Holland in the Curaçao League First Division, Sekshon Pagá, the highest level of football in Curaçao. He has been the first choice goalkeeper since his first season with the club, with his performance earning him caps with the national team. 2017 Caribbean Cup
The 2017 Caribbean Cup was the 19th and final edition of the Caribbean Cup, the biennial international men's association football, football championship of the Caribbean region organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The top four teams qualified for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, while the 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification#Fifth place playoff, fifth-placed team advanced to a 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification (CFU–UNCAF play-off), play-off against the fifth-placed team from the 2017 Copa Centroamericana for the final Gold Cup berth. The host for the final round was expected to be announced in January 2016. Martinique was announced as host on 25 January 2017, winning over bids of Curaçao and French Guiana. Caribbean Cup
The Caribbean Cup was the championship tournament for national association football teams that are members of the Caribbean Football Union. The first competition, established by Shell and run by former England Cricket fast bowler Fred Rumsey, was contested in 1989 in Barbados. The Caribbean Cup served as a qualification tournament among CFU members for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Caribbean Cup replaced the CFU Championship competition which was active between 1978 and 1988. Trinidad and Tobago, eight-time winners, and Jamaica, six-time winners, were the most successful sides, winning a combined 14 of 18 titles. Martinique, Haiti, Cuba and Curaçao also won the tournament. Eloy Victor Room (born 6 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew. Patrick Stephan Kluivert (; born 1 July 1976) is a Dutch former football player, coach and sporting director. He played as a striker, most notably for AFC Ajax, FC Barcelona and the Netherlands national team. He was part of Ajax's Golden Generation of the 1990s at the age of 18, scoring the winner in the 1995 UEFA Champions League Final.
