Rowan Liburd
Rowan Anthony Liburd (born 28 August 1992) is a footballer who plays as a forward for Ramsgate. Born in England, he represents Saint Kitts and Nevis internationally. Career College Liburd spent four years at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia on a football scholarship, where he won several awards including the Sun Conference Player of the Year. Club Upon returning to the UK, Liburd signed for Isthmian League side Billericay Town. In July 2015, Liburd signed a two-year contract with Championship side Reading after he had impressed scoring a brace in a 7–0 friendly win over Beaconsfield SYCOB during pre-season. Liburd made his debut, for Reading in their 2–0 Championship defeat away to Cardiff City on 7 November 2015, coming on as a 63rd-minute substitute for Ola John. English Football League
The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world. It was the top-level football league in England from its foundation until 1992, when the top 22 clubs split from it to form the Premier League. Southend United Football Club is a professional association football club based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. As of the 2022–23 season, the team competes in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Ola John (born 19 May 1992) is a professional footballer who plays for Al-Hazem as a left winger. Born in Liberia, he has represented the Netherlands national team. A product of FC Twente's youth system, he played with their first team from 2010 to 2012 before joining S.L. Benfica. Amid a 2014 loan to Hamburger SV for half a season, he played regularly at Benfica in the seasons of 2012–13 and 2014–15. Afterwards, he was loaned out to Reading, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Deportivo de La Coruña.
