Route Du Vin Half Marathon
The ING Route du Vin Half Marathon (french: ING Route du Vin Semi-Marathon) is an annual road running competition over the half marathon distance (21.1 km/13.1 mi) which takes place in late September in Remich, Luxembourg. It is organised by the Luxembourg Athletics Federation and it is a member race of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. It is sponsored by ING Luxembourg. Established in 1962, the name for the competition stems from the region's wine-making tradition (''Route du Vin'' being the French for ''Wine Route''). The race has had a number of different courses. In the early life of the race the course began in Schengen and finished in Wormeldange. This changed in 1975 to begin in Remich and end at Grevenmacher.
