David De Roure
David Charles De Roure PhD FBCS FIMA CITP is a Professor of e-Research at the University of Oxford, where he is responsible for Digital Humanities in The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH), and is a Turing Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute. He was Director of the Oxford e-Research Centre (OeRC) from 2012-17. From 2009 to 2013 he held the post of National Strategic Director for e-Social Science. and was subsequently a Strategic Advisor to the UK Economic and Social Research Council in the area of new and emerging forms of data and realtime analytics. He is a supernumerary Fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford. and Oxford Martin School Senior Alumni Fellow. Luis Álvarez Roure (born 1976) is a Puerto Rican realist painter based in New Jersey. He is known for his figure paintings as well as his portraits of American public figures such as Philip Glass, Joshua Bell, Paul Volcker, Cándido Camero, Monsignor William Linder, and Octavio Vázquez. Martine Roure (born 28 September 1948, in Lyon) is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament for the south-east of France. She is a member of the Socialist Party, which is part of the Party of European Socialists, and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. She is also vice-chair of the delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China, and a substitute for the Committee on Budgets. Roure (; oc, Rore; it, Rora) is a commune located in the department of Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Its inhabitants are called Rourois. It is a medieval village with agro-pastoral architecture. Geography The village is situated at the entrance of the Tinée Valley, at the edge of the Mercantour National Park, at an elevation of 1100 m.
