Rouguy Diallo
Rouguy Diallo (; born 5 February 1995) is a French athlete who specialises in the triple jump. Career Diallo was born in Nice, and began triple jumping in 2006. She set a new French national junior record at an event in Argentan in 2014, with an attempt of 13.74 m. Diallo won her first major medal at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics in Eugene, Oregon. She broke her own national junior record twice during the event, landing a 14.24 m jump in her first attempt with a 3.2 m/s headwind. After a foul in the second round, she jumped 14.44 m with help from a 3.3 m/s headwind, an attempt that was enough to win her the gold medal. However, these two attempts were not accepted as national junior records as there was too much headwind when they were made. 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships was held between 1 and 3 March 2019 at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the second time this event was held in the city after the 1990 edition and the third time it was held in the United Kingdom, following the 2007 Edition in Birmingham, England. The three-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events and took place over three morning and three afternoon sessions. Bids Apeldoorn, Glasgow, Minsk and Toruń all submitted bids to host the 2019 European Indoor championships. Glasgow were chosen to host the 35th edition of the event with 9 votes ahead of Toruń with 6 votes and Apeldoorn with 1. It is 29 years since Glasgow had last hosted the championships. 2006 World Junior Championships In Athletics
The 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics is the 2006 version of the World Junior Championships in Athletics. It was held from 15 August to 20 August at the Chaoyang Sports Centre in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. The Championships were dominated by the host nation China, and Kenya. It was held in Bydgoszcz in Poland at the Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak Stadium between 8 and 13 July 2008. Previously Bydgoszcz hosted the 1999 World Youth Championships.
