' is a 1993 album recorded by the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. It was their second studio album and was recorded at the studios , ICP and , located in France and Belgium. The album was released on 29 November 1993 and was not as successful as the singers' first studio album, but still spawned three singles which achieved some success in France : "" (#14), "" (#32) and "" (#33). Album information The collector edition of ' has a box in aluminium, whose front cover is entirely carved, and some elements of which are painted red. The Alexandrov Ensemble participated in this recording, on the song "". The album debuted at number one on 5 December 1993 and stayed there for seven consecutive weeks. It was ranked for 17 weeks in the top ten and for 42 weeks in the top 50. In 1995, it earned a Diamond disc for over 1,000,000 copies sold. The album was briefly ranked at #41 in Switzerland. Giuseppe Henry "Pino" Palladino (born 17 October 1957) is a Welsh musician, songwriter, and record producer. A prolific session bassist, he has played bass for acts such as The Who, the John Mayer Trio, Nine Inch Nails, Gary Numan, Jeff Beck and D'Angelo. Early life The son of a Welsh mother and Italian father (from Campobasso), Giuseppe Henry Palladino was born in Cardiff on 17 October 1957. He attended a Catholic school. He began playing guitar at age 14 and bass guitar at 17. He bought his first fretless bass one year later, playing mostly R&B, funk and reggae with a rock and roll backbeat. Jean-Jacques Goldman (; born 11 October 1951) is a French singer-songwriter and music record producer. He is hugely popular in the French-speaking world. Since the death of Johnny Hallyday in 2017 he has been the highest grossing living French pop rock act. Fredericks Goldman Jones was the name of a famous French musical trio made up of Jean-Jacques Goldman, Carole Fredericks and Michael Jones. Established in 1990, it remained active until 1996. After the amicable separation of the trio and the continuation of each in their solo musical careers, the three remained very close friends and continued to perform on special concerts together. ''Du New Morning au Zénith'' is a 1994 double album recorded live by the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. Composed of 31 tracks, it contains many successful songs from Goldman's previous albums and from the trio's two studio albums ''Fredericks Goldman Jones'' and ''Rouge''. It was released on 18 May 1995 and was successful in francophone countries. Recording and releases It was recorded between the 26 April 1994 and the 12 June 1994, first at the New Morning in Paris (the first 14 tracks of the first CD), then during the Rouge concert tour, at the Summum in Grenoble and at the Patinoire de Malley in Lausanne. The money raised by the four concerts at the New Morning in April 1994 was donated to Amnesty International. During the show, a cover version of Aretha Franklin's song "Think" was performed.
