Rotters Golf Club
Rotters Golf Club is an electro music, electro record label set up by DJ Andrew Weatherall in 2001. The label was mainly 12" single-orientated, with most releases actually by Two Lone Swordsmen (Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man) under various guises, with Remote (electro band), Remote, Craig Walsh DJ, Craig Walsh and Decal (band), Decal being the only other contributors. RGC resumed in late 2006 after almost three years of inactivity, with a new LP by Two Lone Swordsmen titled ''Wrong Meeting'', and Andrew Weatherall's debut solo single ''The Bullet Catcher's Apprentice'', a disco-influenced post punk guitar-based effort, moving away from the label's electronic background. Keith Tenniswood
Keith Tenniswood is a British DJ, producer, and remixer. He was one half of the electronic act Two Lone Swordsmen alongside Andrew Weatherall, and produces music on his own as Radioactive Man. He co-runs the Control Tower electro label with Simon Brown, and co-ran the Rotters Golf Club imprint with Weatherall. Post Punk
Post-punk (originally called new musick) is a broad genre of punk music that emerged in the late 1970s as musicians departed from punk's traditional elements and raw simplicity, instead adopting a variety of avant-garde sensibilities and non-rock influences. Inspired by punk's energy and DIY ethic but determined to break from rock cliches, artists experimented with styles like funk, electronic music, jazz, and dance music; the production techniques of dub and disco; and ideas from art and politics, including critical theory, modernist art, cinema and literature. Two Lone Swordsmen
Two Lone Swordsmen were a British electronic music duo from London, consisting of Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood. History Formed by Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood in 1996, following the dissolution of Weatherall's the Sabres of Paradise, Two Lone Swordsmen released material on the record label Emissions Audio Output, run by Weatherall. However, the small nature of the operation limited the duo's success and they subsequently signed to Warp. Two Lone Swordsmen's debut studio album, ''The Fifth Mission (Return to Flightpath Estate)'', was released in 1996. 1998's ''Stay Down'' was placed at number 22 on ''Pitchfork''s "50 Best IDM Albums of All Time" list.
