Rostros Ocultos
Rostros Ocultos is a Mexican rock-pop band founded in 1985, who were moderately well known in the 80s. It was part of the post-movement started by Caifanes, and it was one of the bands that followed its principles, along with Santa Sabina, , Fobia, El Tri, and Maná, among others. Its biggest success was the 1989 single ''El Final''. Its singer's voice is considered one of rock en español's most representative. Raúl Alejandro Escajadillo Peña (born 29 September 1969), known by his stage name, Aleks Syntek, is a Mexican singer and songwriter. He has earned nine nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards, a Grammy nomination, five nominations for the MTV Latin Awards, and is the winner of three Latin ''Billboard'' awards. The "Diana Theatre" is a 2,345-seat indoor theater in Guadalajara, Mexico. Alex González (musician)
Alejandro González Trujillo (born February 24, 1969, Miami, Florida, United States) is an American musician of Cuban and Colombian extraction. He is a member, drummer and songwriter for the Mexican band Maná and metal band De La Tierra. He is nicknamed "El Animal" and has sung lead vocals on several songs, such as " Me Vale". Alex discovered his passion for playing the drums at the young age of 5 when he caught the attention of a kindergarten teacher who gave him a red sparkle drumkit. He took to the instrument very seriously and found himself a teacher shortly thereafter. Azul Violeta is a Mexican band that was formed in 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, by Hugo Rodríguez and César "Vampiro" López. Mixing funk and soul, these Latin rockers were signed by EMI in 1994 with the following line up: Hugo Rodríguez, Alex Pèrez, Yuri González, Iván González and César López "El Vampiro". Cuca (band)
Cuca is a Mexican alternative metal band from Guadalajara, Jalisco that was formed in 1989 by musician and painter José Fors (vocals). Their first official concert, according to the band, was on February 14, 1990. Their first record, '' La Invasión de los Blátidos'' (1992), set them apart from any other Mexican band, since the album contained irreverent, humorous, curse-word laden lyrics and an aggressive sound that, at the time, was not expected in Mexican music. "Cuca" is an apocope for ''cucaracha'' (cockroach), and ''blátidos'' means blattodea, which is the scientific name given to cockroaches. In 1999, the band split up for unspecified reasons. José Fors
José Fors Fierro (born 30 July 1958) is a Cuban singer and artist best known as the leading member of the bands Cuca and Forseps. Biography Fors was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1958. At the age of three he and his family moved to Miami, Florida where he studied painting. In 1967 his family moved to Mexico City, where he lived for the remainder of his childhood. Later on he moved again to Guadalajara where he has lived most of his life. In 1976 he studied anatomical drawing with Robert Martinez and started working with musical groups such as Mask and Lepra. In 1985 he developed an ambitious project with Carlos Esegé (''née'' Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez) called Duda Mata.
