Lou Rosselli
Lou Rosselli (born July 13, 1970) is an American former wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle 52 kg at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Since 2016, he has been the head wrestling coach at the University of Oklahoma. Before his time with the Sooners, Rosselli was an associate head coach at Ohio State University. Wrestling career Rosselli attended Royalton-Hartland High School in Middleport, New York, where he was a four-time state qualifier and two-time NYSPHSAA champion. In 1986 he won the title in the 96 pound weight class, two years later he won his second title at 112 pounds. After 5 years of varsity wrestling, Rosselli continued his career at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he saw continued success. He won the PSAC championship in the 118-pound weight class three times, additionally qualifying for the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships each year from 1989 to 1991. The Rosselli Del Turco are an historic noble family from Florence, Italy. Their origins date to the union of the Rosselli family and the Del Turco family in 1727. Sal Rosselli (born 1949, New York City) is president of the National Union of Healthcare Workers. He was the president of SEIU United Healthcare Workers West until 2009, when the local union was placed into trusteeship by its parent union, SEIU. NUHW was formed by Rosselli and former members of UHW-West following the trusteeship. UHW-West's leadership had refused to support the transfer of 65,000 homecare and nursing home workers into a different SEIU local union. Rex De Rosselli (May 1, 1878 – July 21, 1941), was an American actor of the silent film, silent era, mainly appearing in Western (genre), Westerns. He appeared in more than 150 films between 1911 and 1926. He was born in Kentucky and died in East Saint Louis. He also served as head trainer of the Universal City Zoo from approximately 1915 to 1917. Sabatino Enrico 'Nello' Rosselli (Rome, 29 November 1900 – Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, 9 June 1937) was an Italian Socialist leader and historian. Biography Rosselli was born in Rome to a prominent Jewish family. His parents were Giuseppe Emanuele "Joe" Rosselli (1867 - 1911) and Amelia Pincherle (1870 - 1954), who was the paternal aunt to writer Alberto Moravia. Nello was the youngest of three sons, the others being Aldo Sabatino (1895 - 1916), died in World War I and Carlo Alberto (1899–1937). Nello was a member of the reformist Unitary Socialist Party of Filippo Turati, Giacomo Matteotti and Claudio Treves, which had split from the PSI. Matteo Rosselli (10 August 1578 – 18 January 1650) was an Italian painter of the late Florentine Counter-Mannerism and early Baroque.
