Ross McInnes
Ross McInnes (born 8 March 1954) is a French business executive, and the chairman of Safran since 2015. Early life McInnes was born on 8 March 1954, in Kolkata, India, to Australian parents. His family settled in Paris in 1965. McInnes went to school at the Lycée Janson de Sailly, graduating in 1972 with a French Baccalaureate. He then studied PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at St John's College, University of Oxford. Career McInnes started his career in 1977 in London and then in Rio de Janeiro with the bank Kleinwort Benson, then joined Continental Bank (which became part of Bank of America) as part of the corporate finance team, working in Chicago and in Paris. Tereos is a cooperative conglomerate, primarily active in the processed agricultural raw materials, in particular sugar, alcohol and starch markets. The company is headquartered in Moussy-le-Vieux, France. History In 1932, the Origny-Sainte-Benoite cooperative distillery was founded in the Aisne department of northern France by a number of farmers under the leadership of Paul Cavenne. The factory processed 400 tonnes of sugar beet per day. Continental Bank () was a bank in China. It specialized in savings, warehouses, trusts and real estate business. It was founded in Tianjin in 1919 by Feng Guozhang, the acting president of Republic of China and Tan Lisun, the former Nanjing director of Bank of China. Half a month later, a Beijing branch was also established. In 1942, its headquarters was moved to Shanghai. In 1952, it was closed down.
