Ross H. Paul
Ross Henderson Paul, CM (born 1943) is a college administrator who was the fifth president and vice-chancellor of the University of Windsor. He completed his term of office as president on June 30, 2008. A bilingual native of Montreal, Paul came to the University of Windsor as president early in 1998 immediately after serving almost seven years as president of Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Paul holds a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Bishops University (1964), an M.A. in educational administration from McGill University (1968). He also graduated from the University of London (postgraduate certificate in education, 1965 and Ph.D., 1973). Shaw Festival
The Shaw Festival is a not-for-profit theatre festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. It is the second largest repertory theatre company in North America. The Shaw Festival was founded in 1962. Originally, it only featured productions written by George Bernard Shaw, but changes were later implemented by Christopher Newton and Jackie Maxwell that widened the theatre's scope. As of 2019, the theatre company was considered to be one of the largest 20 employers in the Niagara Region. The Edmonton International Fringe Festival is an annual arts festival held every August in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Produced by the Fringe Theatre Adventures (FTA), it is the oldest and largest fringe theatre festival in North America (based on ticket sales). The Edmonton Fringe is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals. In 2014, 118,280 tickets were sold, up from 117,000 in 2013.
