Ross Dyer
Ross Dyer (born 20 December 1977) is a British sports and entertainment broadcaster. He is currently a association football, football commentator and presenter for ESPN and Fox Sports in the United States. United States ESPN At ESPN International he presents for ESPN FC, and commentates: UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, UEFA European Championship, FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches from Europe and South America. His co-commentators have included: Frank Leboeuf, Robbie Mustoe, Craig Burley, Shaka Hislop, Kyle Martino, Shep Messing, Tommy Smyth, Janusz Michallik, Paul Mariner and Steve Nicol. Shaka Hislop
Neil Shaka Hislop CM (born 22 February 1969) is a retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Born in England, he played for them at under-21 level before representing Trinidad and Tobago at senior international level. The majority of his career was spent in the top division in England where he was a part of the Newcastle United team which finished second in the Premier League for two successive seasons under Kevin Keegan's first tenure. Before this, he played for Reading where he was on the losing side in the 1st Division play-offs despite finishing second overall (the only occasion on which second place was not an automatic promotion position). He later played for West Ham United on two occasions (receiving an FA Cup Runner-up medal during his second term in 2006) and also for Portsmouth (where he won the 1st Division in 2002/03). The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. The competition has been staged every two years since the inaugural tournament in 1977 when it was hosted by Tunisia, under the tournament name of FIFA World Youth Championship until 2005. The 2014 FIFA World Cup was the 20th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national football teams organised by FIFA. Paul Mariner
Paul Mariner (22 May 1953 – 9 July 2021) was an English football player and coach. A centre forward during his playing days, Mariner began his career with Chorley. He became a professional player in 1973 with Plymouth Argyle, where he scored 61 goals in 155 appearances and is considered to have been one of the club's best ever players. He joined Ipswich Town in 1976, where he achieved domestic and European success under the guidance of Bobby Robson. He was called up to play for the England national team during his time at Portman Road, and went on to represent his country at the 1980 European Championships and the 1982 World Cup. In total, Mariner played 35 times for England, scoring 13 goals. He spent two years with Arsenal and then Portsmouth before finishing his career abroad. Janusz Michallik (born April 22, 1966 in Chorzów, Poland) is a Polish-American retired soccer defender, current soccer coach and television sports commentator. Youth Michallik moved to the United States with his father Krystian, a former Polish national team player, at the age of 16. His father had previously spent time in the U.S. in 1976 when he played for the Hartford Bicentennials of the North American Soccer League. While Michallik played for the junior Polish national team, he never played for the senior team, making him eligible for the U.S. team once he gained his citizenship.
