Rosny Park, Tasmania
Rosny Park is a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, located in the City of Clarence on the eastern shore of the Derwent River. It is about five kilometres from the city centre of Hobart. Rosny Park is the commercial twin of its residential namesake, Rosny. History The history of Rosny Park goes back to first settlement where the area was part of ''Kangaroo Point'', later renamed Bellerive. The area was rezoned splitting the areas of Bellerive and Rosny Park and gazetted as Rosny Park in 1977 and the boundaries re-gazetted in 1999. Rosny was named for a family name of W.A. Bethune, the holder of the original grant on the point, and he named it after his ancestor, the Duc de Maximilien de Bethune Sully, of Rosny-sur-Seine near Mantes in France. Division Of Franklin
The Division of Franklin is an Australian electoral division in Tasmania. The division is located in southern Tasmania around the state capital, Hobart. It is the only non-contiguous federal electoral division in Australia, with the two parts of the division separated by the Division of Clark, based around central Hobart. As at the 2016 election, slightly more than half its electors are located on the eastern shore of the River Derwent, incorporating the entire City of Clarence and the suburb of Old Beach from Brighton Council. The remaining electors in the division are drawn from the southern parts of the Kingborough Council, generally south of the Huon Highway and including Bruny Island, and the entire Huon Valley Council. Hobart Bus Station
The Hobart Interchange (also colloquially referred to as the Hobart Bus Mall) is a section of Elizabeth Street that serves as Metro Tasmania's primary bus terminus in Hobart's CBD. Lauderdale
Lauderdale is the valley of the Leader Water (a tributary of the Tweed) in the Scottish Borders. It contains the town of Lauder, as well as Earlston. The valley is traversed from end to end by the A68 trunk road, which runs from Darlington to Edinburgh. Roman road Many ancient camps, and many ''tumuli'', are found in Lauderdale. The Roman road into Scotland, Dere Street, which means "the road into the country of the wild animals", crossed a ford at Newstead, near Melrose, where there had been a Roman fort and garrison, and entered Lauderdale. Rosny College is a government comprehensive senior secondary school located in , a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Established in 1973, the college caters for approximately 1,000 students in Years 11 and 12. The college is administered by the Tasmanian Department of Education. In 2019 student enrolments were 984.
