Rosita Arenas
Rosa "Rosita" Arenas (born 19 August 1933) is a Mexican actress and singer whose film career was most prominent during the 1950s and 1960s. She is one of the last divas of Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, the daughter of Spanish actor Miguel Arenas. At age 16, she was named ''Reina de la Primavera'' (Queen of the Spring), and subsequently made her film debut in ''Anacleto se divorcia'' (1950). She received more important roles in '' ¡¿Qué te ha dado esa mujer?!'' (1951), with Pedro Infante and Luis Aguilar, and ''El señor fotógrafo'' (1953), with Cantinflas. She also tried her hand at singing; in ''Los chiflados del rock and roll'' (1957), she sang the songs "Se me hizo fácil", "Serenata huasteca", and "Qué manera de perder". Pedro Infante
Pedro Infante Cruz (; 18 November 1917 – 15 April 1957) was a Mexican ranchera music singer and actor, whose career spanned the golden age of Mexican cinema. His popularity spread across Latin America. Infante was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and raised in nearby Guamúchil. He died on 15 April 1957 in Mérida, Yucatán, while en route to Mexico City when his plane crashed due to engine failure. From 1939 until his death, Infante acted in over 60 films (30 of them with his brother Ángel) and recorded over 350 songs. For his performance in the movie ''Tizoc'', he was posthumously awarded the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 7th Berlin International Film Festival. Mario Fortino Alfonso Moreno Reyes (12 August 1911 – 20 April 1993), known by the stage name Cantinflas (), was a Mexican comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He is considered to have been the most widely-accomplished Mexican comedian and is celebrated throughout Latin America and in Spain as a popular icon. His humor, loaded with Mexican linguistic features of intonation, vocabulary, and syntax, is beloved in all the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America and in Spain and has given rise to a range of expressions including ''cantinflear'', ''cantinflada'', ''cantinflesco'', and ''cantinflero''. Though some of his films were translated into English and French, the wordplay was so particular to Mexican Spanish that it was difficult to translate. Luis Aguilar Manzo (29 January 1918 – 24 October 1997) was a Mexican film and television actor and singer. He was also known as ''El Gallo Giro'', and was noted for his performances in films as ''El 7 leguas'' (1955) and ''El látigo negro'' (1958). Aguilar was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He was given his first leading role in the film '' Sota, Caballo y Rey'' (1944). He had two daughters (Anna Luisa y Martha Fernanda Aguilar) from his first marriage, and one son (Luis Aguilar Doblado) from his second marriage with Rosario Gálvez.
