''Rosemary Climbs the Heights'' is a 1918 American silent drama film directed by Lloyd Ingraham and starring Mary Miles Minter, Allan Forrest, and Margaret Shelby. Lloyd Ingraham
Lloyd Chauncey Ingraham (November 30, 1874 – April 4, 1956) was an American film actor and director. Biography Born in Rochelle, Illinois, Ingraham appeared in more than 280 films between 1912 and 1950, as well as directing more than 100 films between 1913 and 1930. Films for which he is known include ''Scaramouche'' (1923), ''The Padrone's Ward'' (1914) and '' Rainbow Valley'' (1935). He performed in several films with John Wayne including '' Rainbow Valley'' (1935), '' Empty Saddles'' (1936), '' Westward Ho'' (1935), ''The Lonely Trail'' (1936) and ''Conflict'' (1936). He died of pneumonia in the Motion Picture Hospital at Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, aged 82. His remains are buried in Chapel of the Pines Crematory. Charlotte Mineau
Charlotte Mineau (March 24, 1886 – October 12, 1979) was a tall and thin American film actress of the silent era appearing in 65 to 80 films. Biography Mineau appeared in 65 films between 1913 and 1931. She supported Charlie Chaplin on numerous occasions, and also appeared in several very early Laurel and Hardy comedies. One of her last screen appearances was with the Marx Brothers and Thelma Todd in '' Monkey Business'' (1931) where she appears as "Emily", a woman overheard by Groucho having an illicit affair on the veranda during the party scene. Her last known film appearance was in the Hal Roach two-reeler, ''Strictly Unreliable'' (1932), again with Thelma Todd and ZaSu Pitts, in which Mineau, credited as "Charlotte Meno", plays Todd's landlady, Mrs. Hawkins. Carl Stockdale also known as Carlton Stockdale (February 19, 1874 – March 15, 1953) was one of the longest-working Hollywood veteran actors, with a career dating from the early 1910s. He also made the difficult transition from silent films to talkies. Stockdale was born in Worthington, Minnesota, graduated from Minneapolis Central High School, and attended the University of North Dakota. Before he began working with films, Stockdale was a property man with a repertory theatrical company headed by his brother. He went on to act on stage in repertory theater and in vaudeville. Stockdale was in Hollywood as early as 1913 with a small role in Gilbert M. Anderson's ''Broncho Billy's Last Deed''. He worked with that film franchise for two years before joining D. W. Griffith's film company. He remained busy into the 1940s. His last film was released in 1943.
