Rosemarie Fendel
Rosemarie Fendel (1927-2013) was a German actress and director, who worked on the stage, in film, and in television. She was also a voice actress, and was the voice of notable actresses for German dubs of their work, including Elizabeth Taylor, Jeanne Moreau, and Annie Giradot. She won numerous awards for her work in film and television, and also directed and wrote a few screen productions herself. Her daughter is German actress, Suzanne von Borsody. Career Theater Fendel began her acting career on stage in 1946, appearing at the Kammerspiele in Munich as a flower girl in a production of Girodoux's "Die Irre von Chaillot". She studied acting with the actress, Maria Koppenhöfer. Suzanne Von Borsody
Suzanne von Borsody (; born 23 September 1957 in Munich) is a German actress. She comes from a prominent theatre family, being the daughter of actress Rosemarie Fendel and actor Hans von Borsody. Her grandfather, Eduard von Borsody, was a famous director, while his brother, her great uncle, Julius von Borsody, was an equally famous set designer. She may be best known internationally for playing Frau Jäger in the 1998 film '' Run Lola Run'', and has also done dubbing work for foreign films such as ''Treasure Planet'', where she provides the German voice of Captain Amelia. She is a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF as well as for several other charity organizations. Peter Beauvais (September 9, 1916, Weißenstadt, Germany – December 17, 1986, Baden-Baden, Germany) was a German television film director and scriptwriter. As a director for three decades, he helped pioneer and significantly influenced the development of German television. Career Beauvais was the son of a factory owner of Jewish origin. He attended the Municipal Liebig High School in Frankfurt am Main, where he studied drama, until 1935. In 1936, under the Nazi regime, he was forced to emigrate to the United States on account of his Jewish background. There he worked as an actor on Broadway. Beauvais returned to Germany in 1945 or 1946 with the United States Army, for whom worked as an interpreter, including for the Nuremberg Trials, and as a theatre officer. Johannes Schaaf (7 April 1933 – 1 November 2019) was a German film, theatre and opera director and actor. Several of his films have been internationally recognized. His focus shifted to opera in the 1980s and he worked with many of the leading international opera houses within Europe, and was invited to direct at several renowned opera houses in the United States and Asia.
