Chief Roseman
James John "Chief" Roseman (July 4, 1856 – July 4, 1938) was an American Major League Baseball player from Brooklyn, New York. He played in the outfield for six teams, mainly in American Association, during his seven-season career. In he was the player-manager over a short period for the St. Louis Browns. Edward Roseman
Edward Roseman (May 14, 1875 – September 16, 1957), sometimes identified as Edward F. Roseman, was an American actor, who worked primarily during the silent film era. Biography The son of a pharmacist, Roseman was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, christened Ernest Frederick Roseman. His father died of tuberculosis when he was seven years old so Edward and his two siblings, Jenny May and Henry, were raised in Terre Haute by his mother, Mary Lucinda. As a young adult, Roseman worked on a railroad before succumbing to the lure of vaudeville and traveling theater stock companies, including the Margaret Bird Stock Company and those founded by playwrights Lincoln J. Carter and Wright Lorimer. Between 1913 and 1921, Roseman was a popular actor in silent films, appearing in about 50 motion pictures during that span. Harry Roseman (born 1945 in Brooklyn, New York) is a sculptor, photographer, draftsman, practitioner of web based works, and professor of art at Vassar College where he currently chairs the Department of Art. In addition to having had many solo exhibitions, Roseman has produced a number of major commissioned public sculptures. In 1990, the artist was commissioned to produce a sculpture for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Arts for Transit program. He has worked as a session and live musician since the late 1960s, most notably with the rock band Journey. In between the departure of original keyboardist Gregg Rolie from Santana and the arrival of Jonathan Cain from The Babys he was invited to play keyboards on the track "The Party's Over (Hopelessly In Love)" on the 1981 live Journey release ''Captured''.
