Aaron Broten
Aaron Kent Broten (born November 14, 1960) is an American former professional ice hockey player. Drafted in the sixth round, 106th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Rockies, Broten went on to play 748 regular season games in the National Hockey League (NHL). Career Broten was born in Roseau, Minnesota. He is the brother of former NHL players Neal Broten and Paul Broten. Broten's nephew, Shane Gersich, was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. During his twelve-year career, Broten played for six different NHL teams, including both parts of the Colorado Rockies/New Jersey Devils franchise, the Minnesota North Stars, the Quebec Nordiques, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Winnipeg Jets. Dan Fabian
Dan Fabian (born June 28, 1954) is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 1A from 2015 to 2019 and as Minority Whip from 2019 to 2021. He represented all of Kittson, Roseau, and Marshall Counties, as well as portions of Pennington County in the northwestern part of Minnesota. Education and career In 1972, Fabian graduated from Fargo South High School in Fargo, North Dakota. In 1976, he graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, receiving a B.A. in Biology, Health, and Physical Education. Dean Blais
Dean Charles Blais (born January 18, 1951) is an American ice hockey coach. He was the head coach of the Omaha Mavericks, the men's team of the University of Nebraska Omaha, and also head coach of the United States men's national junior ice hockey team. He led Team USA to a gold medal in the IIHF 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Saskatoon, Canada, held in late December 2009 through early January 2010. He is the former associate coach of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. He led the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux (now Fighting Hawks) men's hockey team to NCAA Division I championships in 1997 and 2000. Aaron Douglas Ness (born May 18, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who is currently under contract with the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL). He was selected by the New York Islanders in the 2nd round (40th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Ness played High School hockey at Roseau High School in Roseau, Minnesota, Roseau, Minnesota, and in 2008 he received the Minnesota Mr. Hockey award as the most outstanding senior high school hockey player in the state of Minnesota. Dustin Byfuglien
Dustin Byfuglien ( ; born March 27, 1985) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He previously played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Atlanta Thrashers and Winnipeg Jets. Drafted as a defenseman, he has played both forward and defense in his career, although he has generally played defense in recent years. Byfuglien helped Chicago win the Stanley Cup in 2010. Paul Broten
Paul Newell Broten (born October 27, 1965) is an American former professional hockey player who played in 322 games in the NHL with the New York Rangers, Dallas Stars, and St. Louis Blues. He shoots right-handed and played right wing. Broten was picked by the New York Rangers in the 4th round, 77th overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. He then went to the University of Minnesota for 4 years, scoring 45 points in 42 games his senior year. During the 1989–1990 NHL season Broten made his debut with the Rangers. He would play for the Rangers until the 1993–1994 season when he joined the Dallas Stars. Bryan Erickson (ice Hockey)
Bryan Lee Erickson (born March 7, 1960) is an American former professional ice hockey player. Career Signed in 1983 as a free agent by the Washington Capitals after starring for the University of Minnesota men's ice hockey team, Erickson played parts of two seasons with the Capitals before he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings.
