Rose Music Center
The Stuart & Mimi Rose Music Center at The Heights is a 4,200 seat fully covered outdoor amphitheatre located in Huber Heights, Ohio, adjacent to Interstate 70 just north of Dayton. History Construction began on the facility in 2013 and was completed in time for the 2015 concert season. The Rose Music Center is owned by the city of Huber Heights and operated by Music and Event Management of Cincinnati. The facility is part of The Heights, an 800-acre residential and retail development. The Huber Heights city council approved the project in March 2013, with an estimated budget of $18 million. The final stated cost of the project was $19.3 million. The facility received its name in January 2015, when the city council approved a lifetime naming rights agreement with the Stuart Rose Family Foundation. Huber Heights, Ohio
Huber Heights is a suburb of Dayton in Montgomery and Miami counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. Its origins trace back to the now-defunct Wayne Township, which was settled in the early-mid 1800s. Wayne Township was incorporated as the City of Huber Heights on January 23, 1981. The city is named for Charles Huber, the developer who constructed a number of the houses that would later constitute the city. Suburban development began in the area in 1956. Huber Heights continued to grow by annexing parcels in Miami County. Collective Soul is an American rock band originally from Stockbridge, Georgia. Now based in Atlanta, the group consists of lead vocalist Ed Roland, rhythm guitarist Dean Roland, bassist Will Turpin, drummer Johnny Rabb, and lead guitarist Jesse Triplett. Formed in 1992, the original lineup consisted of the Roland brothers, Turpin, guitarist Ross Childress, and drummer Shane Evans. Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1986. The band at the time consisted of vocalist/guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss, who stopped touring in 2017 and left the band in 2020.
