Bee Broadcasting, Inc., also known locally as the "Bee Broadcasting Radio Network", is a regional radio broadcasting company, based in Kalispell, Montana. The stations they operate cover the entire Flathead Valley area of northwestern Montana, including all of Glacier National Park. The company has been in the area for over 25 years. The broadcast center that houses all the offices and studios is northeast of Kalispell, at 2432 US Highway 2 East. The two AM transmitters are on Monegan Road, on the east side of Whitefish, MT. All five FM stations share a transmitter and tower site north of Whitefish, near The Big Mountain. Kalispell, Montana
Kalispell (, Montana Salish: Ql̓ispé, Kutenai language: kqayaqawakⱡuʔnam) is a city in, and the county seat of, Flathead County, Montana, United States. The 2020 census put Kalispell's population at 24,558. In Montana's northwest region, it is the largest city, and the commercial center, of the Kalispell Micropolitan Statistical Area. The name Kalispell is a Salish word meaning "flat land above the lake". History Using his own capital, Charles Edward Conrad, a businessman and banker from Fort Benton, Montana, formed the Kalispell Townsite Company with three other men. The townsite was quickly platted and lots began selling by the spring of 1891. Conrad built a large mansion in Kalispell in 1895. Kalispell was officially incorporated as a city in 1892. The Flathead Valley is a region of the U.S. state located in the Northwestern Montana. It includes parts of Flathead County and Lake County. Notable communities include Kalispell, Bigfork, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Polson, Ronan, and St. Ignatius. Whitefish ( Salish: epɫx̣ʷy̓u, "has whitefish") is a town in Flathead County, Montana, United States. According to the 2020 United States Census, there were 7,751 people in the town. History Long before the first Europeans came to Whitefish, native American tribes inhabited the area, most notably the Kootenai, the Pend d’Oreille, and the Bitterroot Salish. The Big Mountain
Whitefish Mountain Resort is a ski resort in the western United States, located at Big Mountain in northwestern Montana.
