Grakcu Sai Mai United Football Club (Thai สโมสรฟุตบอลเกร็กคู สายไหม ยูไนเต็ด) is a Thailand semi professional football club based in Sai Mai, Bangkok. The club is currently playing in the Thailand Amateur League Bangkok metropolitan region. History The club was formed in 2009 as Rose Asia Pathum Thani and entered the newly formed Regional League Central-East Division of which they came last only winning one game in their debut season, 1:0 at home to Rayong. During their debut season they also entered the 2009 Thai FA Cup and were knocked out in the qualifying round In 2010, the club was moved by the Thai Football Association (FAT) into the Regional League Bangkok Area Division of which they again came 13th and therefore bottom once again. At the beginning of this new campaign, the club also changed their name to Rose Asia United Thanyaburi forming closer links with the district of Thanyaburi which resides in Pat ...

Sai Mai District
Sai Mai ( th, สายไหม, ) is one of the 50 districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. It is bounded by (from north clockwise): Lam Luk Ka district of Pathum Thani province; Khlong Sam Wa, Bang Khen and Don Mueang of Bangkok. As of 2014, it had the highest population of all districts in Bangkok. History Sai Mai was the name of a ''muban'' (village) in ''tambon'' (sub-district) Khu Khot, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province. It was transferred to Bang Khen district and promoted to subdistrict (''tambon'') in 1940. Due to the growth of population in the area, Sai Mai was elevated to district status effective 21 November 1997 to improve service and administration. The name of the village "Sai Mai" (lit: late or not) is believed to come from a story told in the past the area was very far from the downtown. The League Cup ( th, ไทยลีกคัพ) is a football cup competition in Thailand. It is also known as Toyota League Cup for sponsorship reasons. It was re-formed during the 2010 domestic football league season in Thailand and runs along the same lines as the Thai FA Cup except that the earlier rounds would be regional rather than an open draw. Final Format Thai League Cup is open to all members of the Football Association of Thailand and Thai League 1 and is divided into eight rounds; the remaining Thai League teams enter at the first round. Matches in all rounds are single-legged, except for the semi-finals, which have been two-legged since the competition began. In single-legged top division teams will plays as away team. Thai FA Cup is an annual knockout association football competition in men's domestic football. It was held between 1974 and 1999 and relaunched in 2009. Raj Vithi won the first two editions. In 2009 it was announced that the Thai FA Cup would return to the Thai football calendar.
