Ángel Aníbal Rosado
Ángel Aníbal Rosado Garcîa (May 4, 1942 – September 10, 2008) was a Peruvian composer and musician. Rosado was born in the Peruvian highlands but moved to Lima as a child. He started out as a composer of huaynos and criollo music. He first took on writing cumbias as a challenge and formed Los Hijos del Sol in 1977. Rosado's first hit was "Si Me Quieres", followed by " Cariñito" in 1978. Rosada's guitarist, Jse Carvallo, went on to form the group Chacalon y la Nueva Crema, (Taken from the Roots of Chicha liner notes). Carlos Rosado Vallejo (born 8 September 1975) is a Mexican former wide receiver in American football who played in NFL Europe for the Barcelona Dragons and the Amsterdam Admirals from 1998 through 2004. He also played preseason with the New York Jets during 2003. His father, Carlos Rosado Stevens, was a wide receiver for the Águilas Reales de UNAM from 1970 to 1974, and later served as the president of ONEFA, the Mexican college football league, from 2008 to 2011. The younger Rosado began playing the sport at the age of seven. He played college football for the Aztecas UDLAP, winning three consecutive ONEFA national championships between 1995 and 1997. PFC Carmen García Rosado (born October 29, 1926 - 2016) was an educator, author and activist for the rights of women veterans who was among the first 200 Puerto Rican women to be recruited into the WAC's during World War II. Her book "LAS WACS-Participacion de la Mujer Boricua en la Segunda Guerra Mundial" (The WACs-The participation of the Puerto Rican women in the Second World War), is the first book to document the experiences of the first 200 Puerto Rican women who participated in said conflict as members of the armed forces of the United States. David Rosado (born August 21, 1942) is an American politician from New York. Life Rosado was born on August 21, 1942, in Morovis, Puerto Rico. The family moved to New York City where he attended the public schools. He became active in community affairs, and entered politics as a Democrat. He graduated A.A. from Mercy College in 1986. On May 1, 1990, Rosado was elected to the New York State Assembly, to fill the vacancy caused by the election of José E. Serrano to the U.S. Congress. He was re-elected twice and remained in the Assembly until 1993, sitting in the 188th, 189th and 190th New York State Legislatures. In September 1993, Rosado defeated the incumbent City Councilman Rafael Castaneira Colon in the Democratic primary for the seat, after Colon had been indicted for appropriating city council expense money for his personal use. Jose Antonio Rosado (born November 9, 1974) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Kansas City Royals from 1996 to 2000. Playing career He was drafted by the Royals in the 12th round of the 1994 amateur draft. He made his major league debut om June 12,1996 and came in 4th in Rookie of the year voting despite having only made 16 starts. He also gave up Paul Molitor's 3000th career hit on September 16, 1996. Julio Rosado del Valle (1922 - September 20, 2008), was an internationally known abstract expressionist. Early years Rosado del Valle was born in Cataño, Puerto Rico and as a young child would always be drawing or painting. In his primary school his teachers recognized his artistic talents. After graduating from high school, Rosado del Valle enrolled in the University of Puerto Rico, where he took art classes under guidance of Cristobal Ruiz. In 1946, Rosado del Valle went to New York where he attended "The New School for Social Research" and studied under the guidance of the Cuban painter Mario Carreño and the muralist Camilo Egas.
