Rosabel is an American house music duo consisting of DJ/producers Ralphi Rosario from Chicago, Illinois and Abel Aguilera from Miami, Florida. Already successful club/dance artists individually, the duo has hit number one on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart five times. Their first single was "La Puta" in 1995 which was also remixed into a reggaeton mix on DJ Nelson & DJ Goldy's ''Xtassy Reggae'', released on September 20, 2000. 2000's "Don't You Want My Love" featured vocalist Debbie Jacobs-Rock. In 2001, Rosabel scored two top 10 club hits with "The Power" featuring Jeanie Tracy which peaked at number one and a remix of Jennifer Holliday's "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" which peaked at number 6 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. House is a music genre characterized by a repetitive Four on the floor (music), four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 120 beats per minute. Cha-cha-cha (dance)
The cha-cha-cha (also called cha-cha), is a dance of Cuban origin. It is danced to the music of the same name introduced by the Cuban composer and violinist Enrique Jorrin in the early 1950s. This rhythm was developed from the danzón-mambo. The name of the dance is an onomatopoeia derived from the shuffling sound of the dancers' feet when they dance two consecutive quick steps (correctly, on the fourth count of each measure) that characterize the dance. In the early 1950s, Enrique Jorrín worked as a violinist and composer with the charanga group Orquesta América. The group performed at dance halls in Havana where they played danzón, danzonete, and danzon-mambo for dance-oriented crowds. Jorrín noticed that many of the dancers at these gigs had difficulty with the syncopated rhythms of the danzón-mambo. Nelson Díaz Martinez (born on April 7, 1972 in San Juan, Puerto Rico), known professionally as DJ Nelson is a Puerto Rican DJ and record producer who played a significant role in the development and popularization of reggaeton. He first made a name for himself as part of the Noise, a club-centered collective that was spawned in 1994.
