Rosa María Cid López
Rosa María Cid López (born, 29 January 1956) is a Spanish academic. Specializing in the study of women and gender, she served as President of the Asociación Española de Investigación de Historia de las Mujeres (Spanish Association Investigating the History of Women). Early years Cid López was born in 1956. In 1979, she received a license in Philosophy and Letters (Section of History) in the University of Oviedo. In 1986, she defended her thesis, "The cult to the emperor in Numidia of Diocletian". She earned a PhD in Geography and History at the University of Oviedo. Career She serves as Professor of Ancient History in the University of Oviedo and has been the chair since 2011. She coordinates the Deméter Group, and the Motherhood, Gender and Family department at the same university. Françoise Thébaud (born 1952) is a French historian, professor ''emeritus'' of history, and specialist in the history of women. In 2017, she was awarded the Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur. Early life and education Françoise Thébaud was born in 1952. Archaeological Museum Of Asturias
The Archaeological Museum of Asturias (Spanish: Museo Arqueológico de Asturias; Asturian: Muséu Arqueolóxicu d'Asturies) is housed in the 16th century Benedictine monastery of Saint Vicente in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. Its findings include collections of the Asturian Neolithic, Megalithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Astur hill fort culture, Roman period, and of the Gothic, Pre-Romanesque and Romanesque periods of the Kingdom of Asturias. The museum also includes sections of Asturian Ethnography, Heraldry, Medieval and Modern Epigraphy, Spanish Numismatics, a European Medal Section, and Armor. While owned by the Spanish State, its management was transferred to the regional administration in 1991.
