Marco Rosa
Marco Rosa (born January 15, 1982) is a Canadian-born Italian professional ice hockey center who plays currently for Asiago of the Alps Hockey League. He was born in Scarborough, Ontario. Playing career Rosa began his career by spending two seasons playing for the Wexford Raiders of the OPJHL. He then attended Merrimack College from 2000 to 2004. He was drafted in the 8th round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft (255th overall) by the Dallas Stars. Although his Junior season with Merrimack was cut short after his wrist was broken in a victory over Boston College in February 2003, as a Senior he rebounded to lead the team with 15 goals scored. Since graduating, he has played seven seasons in the ECHL and AHL. In the 2009–10 season, Rosa led the Manitoba Moose in scoring with 55 points. Anna Palm De Rosa
Anna Sofia Palm de Rosa (25 December 18592 May 1924) was a Swedish artist and landscape painter. In the 1890s she became one of Sweden's most popular painters with her watercolours of steamers and sailing ships and scenes of Stockholm. She also painted a memorable picture of a game of cards in Skagen's Brøndums Hotel while she spent a summer with the Skagen Painters. At the age of 36, Anna Palm left Sweden for good, spending the rest of her life in the south of Italy, where she married an infantry officer. Ángel María De Rosa
Ángel María de Rosa (February 12, 1888 - February 26, 1970) was an Argentine sculptor and philanthropist. Life and work Ángel María de Rosa was born in Junín, a pampas city in northern Buenos Aires Province, in 1888. His parents Vicente De Rosa and Maria Pernicola were Italian immigrants. He enrolled in the Society for the Stimulus of Fine Arts, in Buenos Aires, while in his teens, and later transferred to the Bon Marché Arts Academy, where his teachers were renowned local painters Ernesto de la Cárcova and Pío Collivadino. His training took him to Italy, where he studied at the Florentine Academy, until 1903, and in the Institute of Fine Arts in Rome. Graduating in 1913, he received a First Prize from the Italian Ministry of Education before returning to Argentina. Alberto Fernández de Rosa (born 25 April 1944 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine actor. He has acted on various Argentine films and television series for five decades. Career Alberto Fernandez de Rosa began acting as a child. He debuted in theater at the age of eleven, participating at plays on the Teatro Liceo, under the supervision of playwright Luisa Vehil. Samuel Albert Rosa (31 January 1866 – 25 May 1940) was a British socialist and journalist. Biography The son of housepainter Alexander Rosa and Mary Elizabeth Henshaw, Rosa was probably born in Marylebone, Middlesex, London where he attended St Andrew's School and the Polytechnic School of Art in Regent Street. In 1884 he was an executive member of the Social Democratic Federation, and in 1886 as a journalist in the United States was a member of the Socialist Labor League and the Knights of Labor. In 1888 he moved to Melbourne and established the local branch of the Australian Socialist League; on 20 July 1889 he formed the Social Democratic League with William Maloney and W. D. Flinn, publishing a pamphlet, ''Social Democracy'', in 1890. He was later imprisoned for making "inflammatory" anti-sabbatarian speeches, and became prominent as a spokesman for the unemployed.
