Rory Currie
Rory Currie (born 20 February 1998) is a Scottish footballer who used to play for Lowland Football League club Tranent Juniors as a striker now a free agent. He has previously played for Heart of Midlothian, East Fife, Forfar Athletic, Linfield, Brechin City and Tranent Juniors. Career Currie began his football career with Celtic's youth teams before leaving to join the Rangers Academy in January 2016 on a contract until the end of the 2015–16 season. Currie was released by Rangers in May 2016 but joined Heart of Midlothian. He made his professional debut for Heart of Midlothian as a 75th-minute substitute during a 3–0 home win against Motherwell on 28 November 2016. He followed this a month later with his second league appearance against Aberdeen on 30 December. Lanark
Lanark (; gd, Lannraig ; sco, Lanrik) is a town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, located 20 kilometres to the south-east of Hamilton. The town lies on the River Clyde, at its confluence with Mouse Water. In 2016, the town had a population of 9,050. Lanark has been a royal burgh since 1140, and was historically the county town of Lanarkshire, though in modern times this title belongs to Hamilton. Notable landmarks nearby include New Lanark, the Corra Linn and the site of Lanark Castle. Lanark railway station and coach station have frequent services to Glasgow. Ronan Hughes
Ronan Hughes (born 15 December 1998) is a Scottish professional footballer who used to play for East Kilbride as a midfielder. Club career Hughes turned professional with Hamilton Academical in January 2015. He had first joined the club at the age of 10, and played for them every youth level. He made his senior debut on 11 May 2016. He moved on loan to Stirling Albion in September 2018. In June 2019 he signed a contract extension with Hamilton, until summer 2020. He scored his first goals for Hamilton when he scored twice in a 5-3 defeat to St Johnstone on 17 October 2020. He returned to Stirling Albion on loan in January 2020. He was released by Hamilton at the end of his contract in May 2022, signing for East Kilbride in June 2022. Scottish Premiership
The Scottish Premiership, known as the cinch Premiership for sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish Premiership was established in July 2013, after the SPFL was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. The Scottish League Cup (also known as the Viaplay Cup for sponsorship reasons) is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs. First held in 1946–47, it is the oldest national League Cup in existence. The competition had a straight knockout format but became a group and knockout competition from 2016–17.
