Roper Bar
Roper Bar is a location in Australia's Northern Territory. It lies on the traditional land of the Ngalakgan people, who refer to it as ''Yurlhbunji''. This part of Australia is extremely remote for travellers, although there are a number of Aboriginal communities in the region including Ngukurr, Urapunga and Minyerri, Northern Territory, Minyerri. A four-wheel drive trek through these parts can be an extension of the Gulf Track on a journey further up north to Darwin, Northern Territory, Darwin or Arnhem Land. Division Of Lingiari
The Division of Lingiari () is an Divisions of the Australian House of Representatives, Australian electoral division in the Northern Territory that covers the entirety of the territory outside of the Division of Solomon, which covers Darwin, Northern Territory, Darwin and surrounding areas. The division also includes the territories of Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Lingiari includes all of the Northern Territory's remote Indigenous Australians, Indigenous communities, most of whom vote when visited by mobile polling teams during the election campaign. The current Parliament of Australia, MP is Marion Scrymgour, a member of the Australian Labor Party. Scrymgour herself is Indigenous and inherited Tiwi people, Tiwi identity from her mother.
