Roots Revolution is the Independent record label, independent-label debut album from Canadian CCM band Newworldson. The album won the 2007 GMA Canada, Gospel Music Association Canada Covenant Awards, Covenant Award for Folk/Roots Album Of The Year. The accompanying DVD received a 2007 GMAC nomination for DVD Of The Year.The album also garnered a 2007 nomination for Folk/Roots Song Of The Year: "Babylon Is Gonna Fall"GMAC 2007 Covenant Award Nominees. Newworldson
Newworldson is a Canadian Christian pop/soul band based in St. Catharines, Ontario. Their musical style is very eclectic, but is principally soul music. The band is signed to Inpop Records and has toured extensively with the Newsboys. The band has toured in North America, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. The Juno Awards of 2008 were held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the weekend ending 6 April 2008.
