Roosevelt Station (LRT)
Roosevelt station ( ; ) is the current northern terminus of Line 1 of the Manila Light Rail Transit System and was constructed as part of the Line 1 North Extension Project. It opened on October 22, 2010. Roosevelt is one of the two Line 1 stations serving Quezon City, the other being Balintawak. It is located in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay (Bago Bantay), Quezon City and its neighbors, Project 7 (Veterans Village and Bungad) and Project 8 (Bahay Toro, Sangandaan, Baesa). It links to Congressional Avenue and Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue. The station is named after the latter's name by the time of the station's operation, Roosevelt Avenue, which was named in honor of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The station was temporarily closed on September 5, 2020 to make way for the ongoing construction of the North Triangle Common Station. It was eventually reopened, 2 years later, on December 5, 2022. North Triangle Common Station (official temporary designation: ''Unified Grand Central Station'', also called Grand Central Station), popularly known as the Common Station, is an under-construction rapid transit terminal and transport hub that will connect LRT Line 1, MRT Line 3 and Line 7, and the nearby Metro Manila Subway. North Avenue Station (Line 3)
North Avenue station is an elevated Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station situated on Line 3. Located in Diliman in Quezon City and is named after its location, which is at the corner of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and North Avenue, it is the current northern terminus of the line. The North Avenue Depot, an underground depot where the trains of the line are kept and maintained, is located near the station. The elevated tracks terminate abruptly beyond the station, but there is sufficient room for a terminating train to leave the station and stop before switching to the other track then entering the station again to begin the journey south.
