It had a similar format to CBBC (TV channel), CBBC in that the presenters were situated in a small studio and introduced the programmes from there. There was more emphasis on emailing and texting in to the show, as it was broadcast wherever BFBS was received and allowed children to send messages to their parents who may have been on Military operation, operations. The show, which took its name from the British Forces Post Office number used as its address, was previously known as Children's SSVC. The British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) provides radio and television programmes for His Majesty's Armed Forces, and their dependents worldwide. ''Andy Pandy'' is a British children's television series that first appeared on BBC Television in summer 1950. Originally live, a series of 26 filmed programmes was shown until 1970, when a new series of 13 episodes was made. A revival of the show was made in 2002. The show was the basis for a comic strip of the same name in the children's magazines '' Robin'' and ''Pippin''. Barmy Aunt Boomerang
Barmy Aunt Boomerang is a children's comedy television series broadcast on BBC1 in the United Kingdom from 16 September 1999 to 21 December 2000. Sebastian's world is turned upside down by the arrival of his unconventional Australian aunt Boomerang. It is revealed in the first episode that Aunt Boomerang is in fact a ghost who was starring in an Australian soap when she was killed on set. She now acts as something of a "fairy godmother" to Sebastian. The show ran for two series. ''Balamory'' is a British live-action children's programme on BBC One, BBC Two and CBeebies for pre-school children, about a fictional small island community off the west coast of Scotland, named ''Balamory''. Astro Boy (2003 TV Series)
is a remake from the 1963 anime series of the same name created by Osamu Tezuka. ''Art Attack'' is a British children's television programme revolving around art, currently hosted by Lloyd Warbey on Disney Junior, and originally airing on CITV hosted by Neil Buchanan from 1990 to 2007. The original programme aired on CITV between 15 June 1990 and 19 May 2007, and was presented by one of its creators, Neil Buchanan, throughout.
