''Roohi'' is a 1981 Indian Hindi-language film directed by S.U. Syed, starring Zarina Wahab and Mazhar Khan. Plot Vijay, a wealthy young man who has a wealthy lifestyle as well, lives with his uncle in Delhi. Vijay, a canvas painter He has a vision paints his dream, the woman he is going to marry on his canvas and takes it along with him to Kandaghat, Himachal Pradesh, to visit a close friend, Prakash. ''Roohi'' is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. The film is the second installment in Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, the first being '' Stree'', and is to be followed by ''Bhediya''. It tells the story of a ghost who abducts brides on their honeymoons. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma. It was announced on 29 March 2019 and filming kicked off on 14 June 2019 in Agra. The film was set to release in June 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic in India interrupted production. The film was theatrically released in India on 11 March 2021. The film received negative reviews from the critics for its convoluted plot. Roohi Bano ( ur, ), (August 10, 1951 – January 25, 2019) was a Pakistani actress who was known for her roles in ''Kiran Kahani'', ''Zard Gulab'', and ''Darwaza''. She along with Uzma Gillani, Tahira Naqvi and Khalida Riyasat dominated Pakistan's television screens during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. She was known as ''The Queen of Melancholy'' because she portrayed roles of mournful, pessimistic and desolation in dramas and films. Early life Roohi Bano was born in Karachi on 10 August 1951. Roohi Zuberi
Roohi Zuberi (born 24 March 1959) is an Indian social worker and women's rights activist. Zuberi has also served as a senior cabinet member at Aligarh Muslim University. Career As a university student, she became district president of the National Students' Union of India. Zuberi is an advocate for minority rights. In 1986, she established the Women's Welfare Society in the Northern and Central India (महिला कल्याण समिति). In 2000, she ran for mayor of Aligarh on the Indian National Congress' ticket. Zuberi advocated that there was the need for enacting a Muslim matrimonial code including the bride's consent to marriage.
