Ronnie Lee (American Football)
Ronnie "Bo" Lee (December 24, 1956 – March 26, 2023) was an American professional football player who was an offensive tackle for 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), spending 10 seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He started his career as a tight end. Biography Lee attended had John Tyler High School (class of 1975; now known as Tyler High School) in Tyler, Texas. In high school he participated in football, basketball, track. In 2004, he was inducted into the Texas High School Hall of Fame. Tackle (gridiron Football Position)
Tackle is a playing position in gridiron football. Historically, in the one-platoon system prevalent in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a tackle played on both offense and defense. In the modern system of specialized units, offensive tackle and defensive tackle are separate positions, and the stand-alone term "tackle" refers to the offensive tackle position only. The offensive tackle (OT, T) is a position on the offensive line, left and right. Like other offensive linemen, their job is to block: to physically keep defenders away from the offensive player who has the football and enable him to advance the football and eventually score a touchdown.
