Ronald "Ron" DiMaria, also known by the ring name Ronnie D. Lishus, is an American retired professional wrestler. DiMaria began his career in Killer Kowalski's International Wrestling Federation, where he held the IWF Heavyweight Championship, and was an occasional preliminary wrestler for the World Wrestling Federation. DiMaria also competed in International World Class Championship Wrestling where he was known as The Star Warrior. He was one of the most popular stars in the promotion despite never holding a championship title. During the early-2000s, DiMaria reinvented himself as an arrogant "heel" performer named Ronnie D. Lishus. DiMaria was part of The One Night Stand with partners Edward G. Xtasy and Aaron Stevens in Chaotic Wrestling. During his time with the company, he held both the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship and Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championship twice with Edward G. Xtasy. Formed in 1948, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) was the largest governing body in professional wrestling. Century Wrestling Alliance
The Century Wrestling Alliance, formerly known as NWA Cold Front and NWA New England, is a New England-based American independent wrestling promotion located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded by Tony Rumble in 1989, a retired wrestler and manager in International World Class Championship Wrestling, and included much of its roster prior to and following its close during the early 1990s. The promotion eventually replaced IWCCW as the dominant independent promotion in the Greater Boston area and, in 1997, became an affiliated territory of the National Wrestling Alliance. As of 2007, it is the longest-running independent wrestling promotion operating in New England under a single owner, Ellen Magliaro. The Brantford Civic Centre is a 2,952-seat arena in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. It was built as a Canadian Centennial project in 1967. The Civic Centre is located in the downtown core, adjacent to Elements Casino Brantford. The Pittsburgh Penguins used the arena for preseason camp and exhibition games in September, 1967. Previously, the arena hosted the Brantford Alexanders of the Ontario Hockey League from 1978–1984, and the OHL All-Star game in 1982. Christopher Alan Pallies (November 7, 1955 – March 5, 2019) was an American professional wrestler, actor and stand-up comedian, better known by his wrestling gimmick and ring name, King Kong Bundy. Josip Hrvoje Peruzović (October 14, 1947 – July 29, 2018), better known by his ring name Nikolai Volkoff, was a Yugoslav-American professional wrestler best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
