Rone
Rone is the pseudonym of Tyrone Wright (born 1980), an internationally renowned street artist based in Melbourne, Australia. History Rone grew up in the city of Geelong, Victoria, before moving to Melbourne in 2001. In 2002, he started decorating skateboards and skate parks before beginning to put paste-ups and stencils on walls around Melbourne. He is known for his iconic "Jane Doe" images. In the earlier years of his career, Rone used to use wheat pasting to do quick paste-ups in busy locations, but nowadays Rone's work on the streets are mostly created using traditional painting materials such as rollers and paintbrushes. Some of the locations he has painted include New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Berlin, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Santo Domingo, Mexico, Havana, Christchurch, and Port Vila. Rone (born Erwan Castex, 20 June 1980) is a French electronic music producer and artist. History Early steps Erwan Castex was born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. He grew up in Paris. His first EP "Bora" came out in 2008 on the French label InFiné. French DJ/Producer Agoria selected the track for his mix compilation "At the Controls", attracting immediate support from a good part of the electronic music scene, for instance in the UK (Massive Attack's 3D, Sasha and London's Fabric resident DJ Lee Burridge). 2009–2010: Debut album Spanish Breakfast, a change of status In 2009, Rone released a new maxi, entitled "La Dame Blanche". Rone, Gotland
Rone () is a populated area, a ''socken'' (not to be confused with parish), on the Swedish island of Gotland. It comprises the same area as the administrative Rone District, established on 1January 2016. Geography Rone is the name of the ''socken'' as well as the district. It is also the name of the small village surrounding the medieval Rone Church, sometimes referred to as ''Rone kyrkby''. It is situated in the southeast part of Gotland. The village and harbor Ronehamn is on the southeast coast of Rone. , Rone Church belongs to Alva-Hemse-Rone parish in Sudrets pastorat, along with the churches in Alva and Hemse. John Rone
John Howard Rone (February 14, 1949 – February 4, 2019) was an American stage actor and director. A lifelong Memphian, Rone was a prominent member of the Memphis theatre community. Early life Rone was born in the Memphis suburb of Germantown, Tennessee. There he attended Byars-Hall High School. Rone then earned his BA in theatre from Rhodes College and later his MA in theatre from the University of Memphis. Career Rone played multiple roles in the Memphis theatre community, but was best known for his directing. He made his community theatre directorial debut in 1983 with a production of '' Portrait in Black''. Rone worked with multiple troupes and organizations over the course of his long career including Theatre Memphis, Playhouse on the Square, and Germantown Community Theater.
