Ronald Cardema
Ronald Gian Carlo L. Cardema is a Filipino government official who serves as the chairman of the National Youth Commission (Philippines), National Youth Commission (NYC) of the Philippines. Early life and education Cardema was born on April 12, 1985. He actively participated in extra-curriculars as a student. In elementary school, he was a leader in the Boy Scouts of the Philippines while in secondary school he was high school corps commander under the Maquiling School’s Citizen Army Training. In 2008, Carderma was also corps commander of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps while he attends the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He also became UP Los Banos’ ROTC class president in the unit. National Youth Commission (Philippines)
The National Youth Commission ( fil, Pambansang Komisyon sa Kabataan}), also known as the NYC, is a government agency in the Philippines that specifically addresses issues surrounding the Filipino youth. It was founded on June 30, 1995, via ''Republic Act 8044'' or the "Youth in Nation-Building Act of 1995". The NYC is the Philippine government's sole policy-making body on youth affairs, but also coordinates and implements programs designed to respond to and raise awareness on youth issues. Panfilo "Ping" Morena Lacson Sr. (; born June 1, 1948) is a Filipino former politician and police general who served as a Senate of the Philippines, Senator for three terms: from 2001 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2022. Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) in the Philippines is one of three components of the National Service Training Program, the civic education and defense preparedness program for Filipino college students. ROTC aims to provide military education and training for students to mobilize them for national defense preparedness.
