Ronald Alan Candy
Ronald Alan Candy (25 August 1903 – 27 October 1974) was a New Zealand farmer and dairy industry leader. He was born in Wanganui, New Zealand, on 25 August 1903. He was chairman of Massey Agricultural College from 1944 to 1946. In the 1946 New Year Honours, Candy was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, in recognition of his services as a member of the National Council of Primary Production. Wanganui
Whanganui (; ), also spelled Wanganui, is a city in the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand. The city is located on the west coast of the North Island at the mouth of the Whanganui River, New Zealand's longest navigable waterway. Whanganui is the 19th most-populous urban area in New Zealand and the second-most-populous in Manawatū-Whanganui, with a population of as of . Whanganui is the ancestral home of Te Āti Haunui-a-Pāpārangi and other Whanganui Māori tribes.
