Ronald David Turner (born December 5, 1953) is an American football coach and former player. Turner was most recently an offensive consultant with the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL) in 2017. Ronald Turner (3 August 1922 – 19 December 1998) was a British people, British illustrator and comic book artist. Early life and career Turner was born in Norwich, England. He became interested in science fiction at an early age, with numerous works across several media: the novels of H. G. Wells, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Jules Verne; films and film serials such as ''Metropolis (1927 film), Metropolis'', ''Things to Come'', and ''Flash Gordon (serial), Flash Gordon''; and Alex Raymond's comic strips. Ronald Frederick "Ron" Turner (11 June 1927 – 12 October 2007) was a renowned British water polo player and Olympian. He was born in Notting Hill, London, England and died in Acton, London, England. Ron Turner played for Penguin Swimming Club, a water polo club based in West London, and represented Great Britain in the 1948 Summer Olympics as a reserve, in London, the 1952 Summer Olympics, in Helsinki, Finland, and the 1956 Summer Olympics, in Melbourne, Australia. At the Melbourne Games, he was chosen as part of the 'best of the rest of the World' team that played against the Olympic Champions, Hungary. Subsequently, Ron Turner was involved in the organisation of competitive British water polo. He remained an active swimmer and trained regularly in the Masters section of the West London Penguin Swimming and Water Polo Club, a descendant of ''The Penguins'', until his death. Ron Turner is a retired USA Swimming National Team coach based in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Turner was the Head Coach of the Jiangsu Swimming Team in Nanjing, China, where he was the coach for Chinese National Team members, including Olympic Bronze Medalist Shi Jinglin. Turner retired with 34 years coaching experience, having coached at numerous collegiate programs and nationally ranked club teams, including Indiana University (Bloomington), the YMCA of the Triangle Area Swim Team (Raleigh North Carolina), and Irvine Novaquatics (Irvine California). Turner was the Head Assistant Coach for the Hoosiers from 2001 to 2003, helping them achieve their first ever Women's Big Ten Championship Title. Ronald David Turner, (August 19, 1915 in Carman, Manitoba – 1965) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1946 to 1956, and was a cabinet minister in the government of Douglas Campbell. Turner was educated at the University of Manitoba and the Manitoba Law School. He practiced as a barrister-at-law, and became a Queen's Counsel in 1955. During World War II, Turner served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1939 to 1945. In 1946, he was elected to the Manitoba legislature as a special representative of Manitobans serving overseas in the RCAF. Although elected as an independent, he soon joined the caucus of the governing Liberal-Progressive Party. He was re-elected in the 1949 provincial election, winning the third position in the four-member constituency of Winnipeg South. Lieutenant Ronald William Turner , was an English World War I flying ace. He was credited with nine aerial victories while flying as an observer/gunner in two-seater fighters. Early life Ronald William Turner was born in York, England, on 17 November 1897. He worked for five years as a joiner and carpenter prior to enlisting in 1914 to serve in World War I. World War I Turner served in the Royal Engineers as a lance corporal, until selected for officer training, and was commissioned as a temporary second lieutenant in the Yorkshire Regiment on 27 June 1917. Turner transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in December 1917, and was appointed an aerial observer on 27 April 1918. Ronald Turner (19 June 1885 – 15 August 1915) was an English cricketer. Turner's batting style is unknown. He was also an amateur association footballer. Born at Gillingham, Kent, Turner was the son of the Reverend Robert Stobbs Turner and Catherine Mary Turner, living with his parents at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. He later attended Queens' College, Cambridge, where he gained a Blue in football and played for the England national amateur football team. In cricket, Turner made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Cambridge University at Fenner's in 1906. He then made two further first-class appearances in that seasons County Championship against Somerset and Surrey. He scored 30 runs at an average of 5.00, with a high score of 19. Ronald 'Ron' Turner (born 1945) is an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s. A New South Wales state and Australia national representative , he played in Sydney's New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership for the Cronulla-Sutherland and Newtown clubs.
