Ron Smith (football Coach)
Ronald Smith (born 5 May 1949) is a former football player and coach. He is a former technical analyst for the Australia national team. Playing career Smith played as a junior for North London team Tottenham Hotspur before injury forced an end to his top flight football ambitions. He then went on to play for a number of non-league teams in England before emigrating to Australia to play for South Melbourne SC in 1974. Managerial career Victoria Smith's coaching career started in Victoria in 1975 when he was appointed State Director of Coaching, a position he held until 1978. During that time he was assistant national coach to Jim Shoulder for 26 matches including the 1978 World Cup qualification. Smith's interest and involvement in Coach Education for over three decades was recognised by the Australian Coaching Council, when they presented him with the Eunice Gill Award and by the Australian Soccer Federation in their Roll of Honour for Meritorious Contribution. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. There are also attacking midfielders with limited defensive assignments. Kevin Keegan
Joseph Kevin Keegan (born 14 February 1951) is an English former footballer and manager. A forward, he played for several professional clubs from 1968 to 1984. Having begun his career at Scunthorpe United, he moved to Liverpool in 1971 and then to Hamburger SV in 1977, enjoying great success at both clubs. During this period, he was a regular member of the England national team. He was twice the winner of the Ballon d'Or. After leaving Hamburg in 1980, he played for Southampton and Newcastle United. Keegan returned to football in 1992 as manager at Newcastle. He later managed Fulham and Manchester City. At all three clubs, the team won promotion as champions in his first full season there. Royal Malaysia Police Football Club (), well known as PDRM FC, is a Malaysian professional football club associated with the entity of the Royal Malaysia Police, that participate in the Malaysia Super League. Dollah Salleh
Dollah Salleh (born 10 October 1963) is a Malaysian football coach and former player. He is well-known to MSL fans as Pablo Dollah. One of Malaysia's most decorated players, he has also been manager of Malaysia's national team. Playing career Dollah was one of Malaysia's top footballers in the 1980s and 90s. With striking partner Zainal Abidin Hassan, the two were regarded as the twin strikers by fans. Dollah first played in Malaysian football in 1982. Tomas Petar Rogic ( ; sr-Cyrl, Томас Петар Рогић, ; born 16 December 1992) is an Australian professional footballer who most recently played as an attacking midfielder for West Bromwich Albion and the Australia national team. Rogic was born in Canberra, he played youth football with Tuggeranong United before playing senior football for ANU FC and Belconnen United. In 2011, Rogic joined Nike Football Academy after winning a global competition. He returned to Australia in 2012 to play for Central Coast Mariners, before moving to Scottish club Celtic in 2013. The National Premier Leagues NSW is a semi-professional soccer competition in New South Wales, Australia. Peter Tim Dirk "Pim" Verbeek (12 March 1956 – 28 November 2019) was a Dutch football manager who last coached the Oman national football team. Playing career As a player, Verbeek was a defender or a midfielder and spent his entire career at Sparta Rotterdam. He played there for two stints: from 1974 to 1975 and from 1977 to 1980. Managerial career South Korea Verbeek was the assistant coach of the South Korean national team under Guus Hiddink at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and also under Dick Advocaat at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Guus Hiddink (; born 8 November 1946) is a Dutch former football manager and professional player. He enjoyed a long career playing as a midfielder in his native Netherlands. Retired as player in 1982, Hiddink went into management, leading both clubs and countries from across the globe to achieve various titles and feats. With PSV Eindhoven he won the European Champions Cup, the predecessor of the UEFA Champions League. Gérard Paul Francis Houllier (; 3 September 194714 December 2020) was a French professional football manager and player. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand.
