Romina Khurshid Alam (; born 18 July 1976) is a Pakistani politician from the city of Gujranwala. She was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) on reserved seats for women from Punjab in 2013 Pakistani general election. Early life She was born on 18 July 1976 in Gujranwala. She was born Christian but embraced Islam at an age of 43 years. She converted and announced through her official Twitter account on EidulAdha of 2020. Gujranwala ( ur, , label=none; ) is a city and capital of Gujranwala Division located in Pakistan. It is also known as "City of Wrestlers" and is quite famous for its food. 2013 Pakistani General Election
General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led by President Asif Ali Zardari and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan.
