Romeo's Daughter (album)
''Romeo's Daughter'' is the eponymous debut album from the UK hard rock band Romeo's Daughter. It was released in 1988 by Jive Records, and was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and John Parr. Despite critical acclaim and minor chart success for all three singles, ''Romeo's Daughter'' only reached no. 191 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Some of the album tracks were later recorded by artists including Eddie Money, Heart, Bonnie Tyler, Chrissy Steele and Steps. Background Romeo's Daughter formed in 1985 and cut their first demos with John Parr. After signing to Jive Records, they began working with Parr and Robert John "Mutt" Lange on their debut album. The band met Parr through their manager, and when they began recording at Battery Studios in London, they met Lange who initially agreed to produce "Don't Break My Heart". Romeo's Daughter
Romeo's Daughter are a British AOR, contemporary and mainstream rock band. Their lineup features Leigh Matty, Craig Joiner and Andy Wells. The band released two albums in 1988 and 1993 respectively. They then reformed in 2009 and have toured extensively, as well as releasing new material: a live EP of past hits and an album of new material ''Rapture'' in 2012. and "Spin" in 2015. The current line-up is Leigh Matty, Craig Joiner, Stephen Drennan and Andy Wells. John Victor "Rhino" Edwards from Status Quo is a regular guest with the band live. History The original manager of the band was Olga Lange, then the wife of Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Mutt Lange was impressed by their songwriting abilities and agreed to produce (part of) their debut album. Hence, Romeo's Daughter was often seen as protégés of Mutt Lange. ''Tough it Out'' is the second studio album by the British hard rock band FM, released in 1989 on the Epic Records label, the follow-up album to the band's first album, '' Indiscreet'' (1986). FM (British Band)
FM are a British rock band (referred to as FM UK in North America to avoid confusion with the Canadian progressive rock band FM). They have released thirteen studio albums to date. Three of those, '' Indiscreet'', '' Tough It Out'' and 2015's ''Heroes and Villains'' reached the UK Albums Chart, whilst five of the band's singles made inroads into the UK Singles Chart. Career FM was formed in the summer of 1984 in London.
