''Romantic Girls'' ( it, Romantiche) is a 2023 Italian anthology comedy film co-written and directed by Pilar Fogliati, at her directorial debut. Based on a series of viral skits that Fogliati had posted on the web and later adapted in the radio program ''Non è un paese per giovani'', it has Fogliati playing four characters from different geographical and social backgrounds. For her performance she got a Nastro d'Argento for best actress in a comedy film and a Globo d'Oro for best actress. The film also won the Globo d'Oro for best comedy film. Pilar Fogliati (born María Del Pilar Fogliati; 28 December 1992) is an Italian actress and filmmaker. Life and career Born in Alessandria from Roman parents who were there to spend the Christmas holidays, Fogliati grew up in Mentana and formed at an amateur drama school before graduating from the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts. After several stage roles, she made her film debut in 2016, in Fausto Brizzi's '' Forever Young''. ''Il Piccolo'' is the main daily newspaper of Trieste, Italy. Its name derives from the paper's original ''small'' format. History and profile ''Il Piccolo'' was founded by Teodoro Mayer in 1881.
