The '' S.A. des Chantiers aéronavals Étienne Romano'' (CAER) was an aircraft manufacturing company based in Cannes, France. The predecessor company, ''Chantiers aéronavals de la Méditerranée'' had been founded by Étienne Romano in 1921. History André Auniac and Étienne Romano founded the ''SA des Chantiers aéronavals Étienne Romano'' on 16 August 1929. The factory was ideally located between the Mediterranean Sea and a flat expanse of grassland where the planes could take-off and land. That field would become later Cannes – Mandelieu Airport. Pecorino Romano () is a hard, salty Italian cheese, often used for grating, made with sheep's milk. Even though this variety of cheese originated in Lazio, as the name also indicates, most of its actual production has moved to the island of Sardinia. Romano cheese is a term used in the United States and Canada for a class of hard, salty cheese suitable primarily for grating similar to Pecorino Romano, from which the name is derived. In spite of the name, it should not be confused with genuine Pecorino Romano which is an Italian product recognized and protected by the laws of the European Union, though United States law allows Romano produced entirely from sheep's milk to be called "Pecorino Romano". Per U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations, Romano cheese can be made from cow, goat, and/or sheep's milk. It must contain less than 34% water and at least 38% milkfat. Cream, skim milk and/or dry milk and water can be added or removed to create the correct level of milkfat. Romano d'Ezzelino is a small city with c. 14,000 residents in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It lies in the foothills of Monte Grappa and is located among some hills and country. The name "Romano" comes from ''Arimanno'', a Lombard word meaning "military settlement". "Ezzelino" refers to the family of ''Ezzelini'', who moved to Romano in 1199. The coat of arms is inspired by Ezzelino III da Romano's emblem, which portrays a horseshoe carried by a swan. The meaning is justice and submission. The swan wears a crown, that represents the family greatness and a cross that refers to the crusades. Cape Romano is a cape on the Gulf Coast of Florida, United States, below Naples, just beyond the southwestern tip of Marco Island and northwest of the Ten Thousand Islands in Collier County. Calusa Indians founded the settlement and called it Manataca. Juan Ponce de León briefly stopped at Manataca on his first trip from Puerto Rico to Florida, but the Indians tried to fight him off. There are two competing theories about why the island is called Cape Romano. One theory that Cape Romano got its name from the survivors of a Romanian shipwreck that colonized the island in 1834. Another undocumented theory is Cape Romano was named after it by British surveyor Bernard Roman who sailed by it in 1775.
