''Romanesque'' is the debut extended play released by the Japanese rock band Buck-Tick. It was released on 12-inch vinyl, cassette and 8 cm CD (which contains a bonus track) on March 21, 1988 through Victor Entertainment. The extended play peaked at number twenty on the Oricon charts and has sold 40,000 copies worldwide. Buck-Tick
Buck-Tick (stylized as BUCK-TICK) is a Japanese Rock music, rock band, formed in Fujioka, Gunma in 1983. The group has consisted of lead vocalist Atsushi Sakurai, lead guitarist Hisashi Imai, rhythm guitarist Hidehiko Hoshino, bassist Yutaka Higuchi (musician), Yutaka Higuchi and drummer Toll Yagami since 1985. The band has experimented with many different genres of music throughout their three decade career, including punk rock, industrial rock and gothic rock. Buck-Tick are commonly credited as one of the founders of the visual kei movement. They have released 22 studio albums, nearly all reaching the top ten on the charts. Se (instrument)
The ''se'' () is an ancient plucked zither of Chinese origin. It varied in size and construction, but generally had 25–50 strings with moveable bridges and a range of up to five octaves. It was one of the most important stringed instruments in China, along with the ''qin''. The ''se'' gradually faded out of use, having evolved into the similar ''zheng''. Modern versions of the ''se'' often resemble the ''zheng'', and attempts have been made to revive the instrument. History According to legend, the ''se'' was created by the god Fuxi. Toll Yagami
, known exclusively by his stage name , is a Japanese musician, best known as the drummer of the rock band Buck-Tick since 1985. He is the older brother of Yutaka Higuchi, Buck-Tick's bassist. Life and career Toll Yagami dropped out of high school in the tenth grade. His first bands were Shout and Spots, with the latter eventually changing their name to SP. In 1984, the members of Buck-Tick, the band of Yagami's younger brother Yutaka, moved to Tokyo, sans drummer Atsushi Sakurai. Sakurai asked Yagami if he could join SP as vocalist, but was refused. , nicknamed "U-ta", is a Japanese musician. Known as the bassist of the rock band Buck-Tick since 1983. He is the younger brother of Toll Yagami, Buck-Tick's drummer. Acoustic Guitar
An acoustic guitar is a musical instrument in the string family. When a string is plucked its vibration is transmitted from the bridge, resonating throughout the top of the guitar. It is also transmitted to the side and back of the instrument, resonating through the air in the body, and producing sound from the sound hole. , nicknamed "Hide", is a Japanese musician and songwriter. He is known as the rhythm guitarist for the rock band Buck-Tick since 1983. is a Japanese musician and singer-songwriter. He has been the vocalist of the rock band Buck-Tick since 1985, previously being their drummer from 1983. He released the solo album '' Ai no Wakusei'' in 2004 and was also a member of Schwein alongside Hisashi Imai (Buck-Tick), Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM) and Raymond Watts.
