Roman Nikolayevich Yuzepchuk ( be, Раман Мікалаевіч Юзапчук, russian: Роман Николаевич Юзепчук, born 24 July 1997) is a Belarusian footballer who plays for Russian club Khimki. Club career On 3 February 2023, Yuzepchuk signed with Torpedo Moscow in the Russian Premier League. International career He has made 3 appearances and scored 3 goals playing for the Belarus national under-19 football team at the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification. Yuzepchuk earned his first cap for the senior team on 26 February 2020, playing as a starter for 60 minutes in the 1:0 away win over Bulgaria in a friendly match. The 2019 Belarusian Premier League was the 29th season of top-tier football in Belarus. BATE Borisov were the defending champions, having won their 13th consecutive league title and 15th overall last year. Dynamo Brest won the Belarusian Premier League title for the first time, ending the BATE Borisov streak. Teams The bottom two teams from the 2018 season (Smolevichi and Dnepr Mogilev) were relegated to the 2019 Belarusian First League. They were replaced by Slavia Mozyr and Energetik-BGU, champions and runners-up of the 2018 Belarusian First League respectively. In spring 2019, Luch Minsk merged with Dnepr Mogilev. The united club was named Dnyapro Mogilev. The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier.
