Roman Kłosowski
Roman Kłosowski (14 February 1929 – 11 June 2018) was a Polish character actor and stage director. Biography He was born on February 14, 1929, in Biała Podlaska. Graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art's Faculty of Acting (1953) and Faculty of Directing (1965). He made his theater debut on September 1, 1953. Kłosowoski made his debut on stage as Puck in the production of Shakespeare's ''A Midsummer Night's Dream''. He made his screen debut in 1953, starring in the film '' Celuloza'' by Jerzy Kawalerowicz. He would go on the star in another of Kawalerowicz's films, ''Shadow'' (''Cień'') in 1956, a film which was entered into the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. The film is a ''Rashōmon''-like investigation into the life of a man found dead after having been hurled from a train. Biała Podlaska
Biała Podlaska ( la, Alba Ducalis) is a city in eastern Poland with 56,498 inhabitants as of December 2021. It is situated in the Lublin Voivodeship (since 1999), having previously been the capital of Biała Podlaska Voivodeship (1975–1998). It is the capital of Biała Podlaska County, although the city is not part of the county (it constitutes a separate city county). The city lies on the Krzna river. Janusz Gajos
Janusz Gajos (; born 23 September 1939) is a Polish film, television and theatre actor as well as pedagogue and photographer. Professor of Theatre Arts and an Honorary Doctor of the National Film School in Łódź, he is considered one of the greatest Polish actors. Life and career He was born in Dąbrowa Górnicza. At the age of 11, he moved to Będzin where in 1957, he graduated from the High School No 3. The Leon Schiller National Film School ( pl, Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Filmowa, Telewizyjna i Teatralna im. ''Hydrozagadka'' ( pl, Hydro-puzzle) is a Polish superhero comedy film. During a summer heat wave, all the water in Warsaw is puzzlingly disappearing. Scientists secretly call upon As (''Ace''), a superhero who passes his days living as a mild-mannered engineer, to try to solve the mystery. It turns out that a mysterious Maharaja is in league with Doctor Spot to steal Poland's water and take it to the Maharaja's country. The movie was ostensibly created as a Communist parody of the American ideals glorified in Superman and other superhero films, however Polish audiences instead felt that the film humorously parodied aspects of Polish life under Communist rule, such as the many slogans for a "better life."
