Roman Kostrzewski
Roman Kostrzewski (15 February 1960 – 10 February 2022) was a Polish heavy metal musician. He was the lead vocalist and songwriter of Kat until 2005. From then onwards, he focused on performing with Kat & Roman Kostrzewski. He also founded Alkatraz, another heavy metal band, with Valdi Moder in 2000. Life and career Kostrzewski met KAT at the first edition of Silesian Rock Festival in Bytom. Shortly after that, he joined the band. They gained popularity and acceptance very quickly. In 1984 KAT was considered the favourite act at Jarocin festival. The tour with Hanoi Rocks quickly led the band to the top of Polish rock. In 1985 KAT released their debut album 666 and its English version Metal and Hell. After several spectacular shows, KAT released another album, Oddech Wymarłych Światów, and then, after several arguments between the members, KAT stopped playing. Piekary Śląskie () (german: Deutsch Piekar; szl, Piekary) is a city in Silesia in southern Poland, near Katowice. The north district of the Upper Silesian Metropolitan Union – metropolis with the population of 2 million. Located in the Silesian Highlands, on the Brynica river (tributary of the Vistula). Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer. ''Letters from the Earth'' is a posthumously published work of American author Mark Twain (1835–1910) collated by Bernard DeVoto. It comprises essays written during a difficult time in Twain's life (1904–1909), when he was deeply in debt and had recently lost his wife and one of his daughters. The content concerns morality and religion and strikes a tone that is sarcastic—Twain's own term throughout the book. Initially, Twain's sole surviving child, Clara Clemens, objected to its publication in March 1939, probably because of its controversial and iconoclastic views on religion, claiming it presented a "distorted" view of her father. Henry Nash Smith helped change her position in 1960. Clara explained her change of heart in 1962 saying that "Mark Twain belonged to the world" and that public opinion had become more tolerant.
