Matthew Ishaya Audu
Matthew Ishaya Audu (born 1959 in Rafin Pa) is a Nigerian prelate of the Catholic Church who has served as Archbishop of Jos since 2020. He was appointed Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafia in 2000. He was appointed archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Jos in 2020. Early life and education Audu was born in 1959. He attended St. James Minor Seminary in Keffi, then completed his philosophical and theological studies at the St Augustine Major Seminary in Jos. The Roman Rite ( la, Ritus Romanus) is the primary liturgical rite of the Latin Church, the largest of the ''sui iuris'' particular churches that comprise the Catholic Church. Wukari is a Local Government Area in Taraba State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Wukari on the A4 highway. The Donga River flows through the area and the Benue River forms a boundary with Nasarawa State to the northwest. It has an area of 4,308 km and a population of 241,546 at the 2006 census.
