Octavio Betancourt Arango
Octavio Betancourt Arango (January 4, 1928 – June 18, 2017) was a Colombian Catholic prelate. He served as an auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Medellín from November 23, 1970, until November 10, 1975, and a bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Garzón from November 10, 1975, until April 26, 1977. Life He was born on January 4, 1928, in the municipality of Abejorral, Antioquia, his parents were Vicente Betancourt and María Arango. He studied at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana until he obtained a bachelor's degree in 1945. In 1946 he entered the Medellín Major Seminary and after he was ordained a priest by Monsignor Joaquín García Benítez on 1 November 1951. He was cooperating vicar in Caldas and Titiribí. Ismael Perdomo Borrero (22 February 1872 - 3 June 1950) was a Colombian people, Colombian Roman Catholic Church, Roman Catholic prelate who served as the Archbishop of Bogotá from 1928 until his death. Esteban Rojas Tovar
Esteban Rojas Tovar (15 January 1859 – 28 July 1933) was a Colombian educator, philanthropist and, from 1900 to 1922, bishop of the diocese of Garzón in the department of Huila in Colombia. He was born in El Hato (Tarqui, Huila). After studying philosophy and theology he was ordained as a priest and rose rapidly through the Colombian ecclesiastical hierarchy. This was due in a large part to his organisational and leadership skills. As a priest he was well known for pastoral and missionary work, his integrity and his austere lifestyle. He founded many colleges in Huila and Tolima as well as the Council Seminary of Garzón and the Mesa de Elías Seminary. Bishop Rojas Tovar worked tirelessly and most of the public works that benefited the department of Huila were carried out thanks to his intervention. José de Jesús Horacio Pimiento Rodríguez (; 18 February 1919 – 3 September 2019) was a Colombian prelate of the Catholic Church who served as Bishop of Montería from 1959 to 1964, Bishop of Garzón-Neiva from 1964 to 1975, and finally Archbishop of Manizales from 1975 to 1996.
