Fernando Torres Durán (2 August 1937 – 13 November 2019) was a Panamanian Roman Catholic bishop. Durán was born in Colombia. He served as titular bishop of ''Abaradira'' and as auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Panamá, Panama from 1996 to 1999. José Domingo Ulloa Mendieta, OSA, is the Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archbishop of Panama. He was born in Chitré, Panama, December 24, 1956, was ordained priest on December 17, 1983 in Chitre and was consecrated a bishop on April 17, 2004, taking canonical possession of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Panama on April 18, 2010. José Domingo Ulloa Mendieta was born in Chitre, Herrera Province, Republic of Panama, on December 24, 1956, the third of three children of the marriage of Dagobert and Clodomira Ulloa Mendieta. He was ordained priest on December 17, 1983 by the then Bishop of Chitre, Bishop José María Carrizo Villarreal, at the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista Chitre. José Luis Lacunza Maestrojuán, O.A.R. (; born 24 February 1944), is a Spanish-born Panamanian friar of the Order of Augustinian Recollects and prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has served as Bishop of David, Panama, since 1999. On 4 January 2015, Pope Francis announced that he would make him a cardinal on 14 February. At that ceremony, he was assigned the Church of San Giuseppe da Copertino as his titular church. Life Lacunza was born in Pamplona, Spain, in 1944. He was accepted as a candidate by the Recollect friars and studied at the St. Joseph Minor Seminary which they operated in Artieda, Zaragoza.
