Roman Bürki
Roman Bürki (born 14 November 1990) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club St. Louis City SC. From 2014 to 2018, he played for the Switzerland national team. Club career Switzerland Bürki began his career in 2007 with the reserve squad of the BSC Young Boys. In 2009, he moved to FC Thun, and half a year later to FC Schaffhausen. In the summer of 2010 he went back to BSC Young Boys, and again half a year later he was transferred to Grasshopper Club Zürich. First, he was the back-up goalkeeper, later the first goalkeeper. He was on loan until 2013, when Grasshoppers bought his rights. SC Freiburg On 24 May 2014, he signed a contract with SC Freiburg. The 2009–10 Swiss Super League is the 113th season of top-tier football in Switzerland. The competition is officially named ''AXPO Super League'' due to sponsoring purposes. It began on 11 July 2009 and has ended in May 2010. FC Zürich were the defending champions. The title was won by FC Basel. The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. The competition was founded in 1935, then called the '' Tschammer-Pokal''. The first titleholders were 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1937, Schalke 04 were the first team to win the double. Marco Bürki (born 10 July 1993) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Thun. Club career Bürki is a product of the Young Boys youth team and made his senior debut during the 2011–12 season. He became a regular in the senior side during the 2012–13 season, making 16 league appearances. In an effort to get more game time, Bürki joined fellow first division side FC Thun in 2015 on a two-year loan deal. He returned to Young Boys ahead of the 2017–18 season and was part of the squad that won the Swiss Super League, their first league title for 32 years. The 2016 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2016 (stylised as UEFA EURO 2016) or simply Euro 2016, was the 15th UEFA European Championship, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Europe organised by UEFA.
